Stefano Veraldi graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan in 1984. He was Research Fellow at the Dermatology Unit, University of Milan, in 1986-1988; Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology in 1987; Assistant Dermatologist in 1990-2000; Senior Researcher in 2000-2002; Associate Professor in 2002-2022; Head of the Postgraduate School of Dermatology and Venereology of the University of Milan in 2013-2019; Full Professor s.p.p. of Dermatology and Venereology in 2021.

He was Member of the European Global Alliance in Acne in 2007; Scientific Director of the European Institute of Dermatology in 2007-2008; President of the Italian Acne Board in 2009-2022; Member of the Rosacea Global Advisory Board in 2012; Chairman and co-chairman of the Asia Pacific Acne Leaders Summit (APALS) in 2012-2014; Co-chairman of the European Severe Acne Board in 2014-2019; Member of the Rosacea Research & Development Institute in 2014; Co-chairman of the Advisory Board in Mycology in 2014; Member of the Rosacea Advisory Board in 2014; Advisor of the Asia Pacific Dermatitis Leader’s Summit in 2014; Co-chairman of the Global Expert Panel Topical Antifungals in 2014; Visiting Professor at the Tokuda Hospital (Sofia, Bulgaria) and at the H.C.M.C. Hospital of Dermato-Venereology (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam) in 2015; Co-chairman of the Advisory Board Dermatomycoses in Real Life in 2016-2017; Co-chairman of the CeraVe European Advisory Board in 2018-2019 and Co-chairman of the Global Travocort®/Travogen® Advisory Board in 2019.

He is author of 31 books, 96 chapters in books, 343 articles indexed on Scopus and 312 on PubMed (January 2022).
